Yendarra attended the Otara Sport
Clusters annual Softball tournament held at the Howick Softball Club. We
entered a boys and girls team for the tournament and were pleased with
performance both on and off the softball pitch. The sport is very new to
many of us but every member of the team demonstrated the value of MANAWANUI by not giving up and doing the BEST they could.
On behalf of our Yendarra whanau we
applaud
the work of Lincoln and
his team from Counties Manukau Primary Sport, Auckland Softball Association and
the Howick Softball club for hosting and facilitating a well organised
competition on the day – as all teams success would not be possible without the
behind the scenes work of all those involved.
In closing we thank our parent whanau
for your ongoing support we are truly blessed to have you attend when you can
and look forward to your presence in competitions this year.
